What inspired you to be a DJ?

Love for music, I used to dance in my teens and Djing got in my way, I intentionally didn’t become a Dj, i was asked and requested to be a Disc Jockey and I at that point of time didn’t have much to choose from, I had lost my father and had to earn a living, I was highly inspired by many legendary musicians such as Ray Charles, Prince, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Gulam Ali, Pandit Hari Prasad, Nusrat Fathe Ali, Mehdi Hassan & Quincy Jones.

If you had to switch your style to another genre, what would it be?

It would be Funky House/Tribal/Tec. By the way this is the music I started my Dj carrier with, just to let you know.

Who is your biggest inspiration? / Who do you have a lot of respect for?

My Parents and my Biggest Inspiration is Imam Ali and his teachings.

Why should I choose you as my wedding DJ?

Because i have done the best’s of destination wedding in and around the world and I understand the wants of the very easy dancing elders and the jumping teenagers, the tracklist and the music menu has to be created keeping all the family members in mind, especially a Indian wedding  because there are guest who do not often go to a club and so they need a few original mixes to dance to, every song has to be a smasher as at a wedding theres no time for experiments, the ladies are all dressed up head to toe and wanna dance on songs they can sing along and do the act too. It’s a very different game playing at a wedding and I love it. I have done way too many weddings and now I completely understand the plot and that’s the reason you probably would choose me as your wedding Dj.
