What is the story behind your blog’s name?

When we had decided to start a blog, we thought to give a short but catchy name, which will be appropriate for our blog, which will define our blog. And nothing could be better than this name ‘PeekNCook’.


Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?

I’m a homemaker, married for 6 yrs. Cooking is my passion. It’s my stress buster and gives me relief. I love to cook and eat as well. I like different types of Cuisines and the foods recipes turn me on. Whenever I see some new type of food but easy to make, I try to find out the recipe and then try to innovate it with my Style of cooking. I try at home the recipe multiple times till I feel that it’s perfect and can be shared with others. This is the way I create new.


What is your blog about? Who reads it? How long have you been blogging?

My blog is mainly about food, but recently we have started a particular segment on travel too. Mostly homemakers read my blog. I’m blogging for 5.5 years.



What do you think food blogging will look like in 5 years?

In future food blogging will not only limit to blogging of recipes, it will also grow to promotion of brands related to food and also to restaurant reviews. In my opinion food blogging has immense opportunity to work with respect to cooking delicious food, making others reap the benefits out of the food blogs & make the tummies happy.

Work hard & honestly. Do whatever you want to do by following your heart.

Moumita Ghosh, She is an Indian Bengali HomeMaker. She has spent her Infancy and childhood under the supervision of Grandmother, Mother & Aunt. So obviously she grew up with good culture, education, etiquette and proper eating.

Cooking was her passion and it has the influence of my Grandmother, mother. After the wedding, she used to cook different varieties of food for her husband and this made her extremely happy. Now she is trying to make more people relish the happiness and this is a small effort in regards to the same.
