Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?
I was always a critic, criticising food mostly. On the other hand, I was a big time hogger, i ate whatever was served to me. Mostly, my social media had pictures of food, more than me people saw food in my snapchat stories, hence i regularly used to get questions from my friends, asking for recommendations about where to eat. So, one day it just occurred to me why not make a blog out of everything i already do, and that’s when “nagpuritadka” came into existence.
What’s your blog about? Who reads it? How long have you been blogging?
My blog is majorly about dishes to try in Nagpur, general review of all the restaurants and roadside eateries. I also post my own recipes or recipes which i find worth sharing. Most of my audience constitutes of youngsters from Nagpur, college students and the youth. I started my blog on 23rd April 2017, so it is 11 months old now. 1 month to go for the Anniversary 🙂
What do you think food blogging will look like in 5 years?
Basically, when i started this, I had no idea how far i will come doing this, it most like a personal thing initially, which has become sort of a brand in a span of 11 months, so i don’t have any predictions of what it will be after 5 years, still, hoping for the best.
Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?
Frankly speaking, everything excites me, right from photography to replying back to each and every comment and messages, I enjoy it all thoroughly.
What are the three most popular posts ever on your blog?
- I had posted about a chinese food stall in Nagpur, it went viral. The name of this stall is
- I had posted self made garlic breadsticks, which is like dominos.
- I had posted about a stall which serves chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, and biryani at rockbottom prices, the name of this place is Sadar biryani.
