Story behind Your blog’s name?
Chennai is the capital city of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.Many doesn’t know that Madras is another name of Chennai, I think that people must know the history of Chennai AKA Madras. Chennai is a city and Madras is an emotion, so I decided to keep Madras Foodie as my blog name.
Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?
I didn’t decided but it happened.Usually I use to go many places where I capture pictures and writes captions so that I could post it on Instagram.My friends also provoked me to start a blog. As per their request and my keen interest in food, I finally started my blog as Madras Foodie.
What is your blog about? Who reads it? How long have you been blogging?
My blog is about traveling,food photography and food Blogger.I am Blogging in and around Tamil Nadu but mainly concentrating on Chennai.The important thing of my blog is to explore varieties of food in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and other states in India.
When I started my blog I never expected this much of love and support from my followers.I have been able to gather 33.7k followers within 4 months.Now I am equally concentrating on my blog and my career as well.
What do you think food blogging will look like in 5 years?
I think in future it will be playing a vital role as for people it will be more easier for them to go for some places after searching some famous blog account.Whereas social media platforms will play major roles in promoting their blog.I am sure people can choose food blogging as their career.Blogging is an experience what we had in the place.
Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?
Blogging as such on a wider perspective relies around how far a content is qualitative. The most important part is the Photography which is a fundamental base of it and is one of my favorite but deeper down to the core part I would say is the recipes that plays a back bone to every dish that is been created which is not only helpful to gain knowledge but also it is like a sea with endless opportunities to explore.
