Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?
Food is one of the essential commodities for the survival of any human on this earth. Being a citizen of a country like India, we all can experience the diversity in terms of language, caste, religion, and traditions. But what binds us all is the love for food. There is a humungous range of food in the traditional foods which change according to the region. To add, India is welcoming all the different cuisines of the world in a plate here. Said and done that, I am aware that according to FAO, 190.7 million people were undernourished in India. Hence the name HUNGER NATION. To celebrate the privilege of having luxury food with a sense of responsibility regarding the hunger rate of the nation. With the power of digital media/social network, I realized that only such medium can justify my passion for food.
What do you think food blogging will look like in 5 years?
In the current scenario, the bloggers are used as a market tool by the hoteliers/PR companies. Presently, there are at least 10 individuals who are joining this field as bloggers every day. I see the future to be very bright for food bloggers. But I fear that the process of authenticity would be destroyed in large numbers of the bloggers.
Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?
It’s difficult to answer this question. It is like asking a mother to choose from her children. All the three attributes play a crucial role in the blogging process. Not are they crucial only but all of them compliment each other.
Is there any event you are especially looking forward to this year?
IBFA Awards 2018
What are the three most popular posts ever on your blog?
The first post is Cheese Bomb and the second one is Orange Margarita and the third and last one is Pachgani Sour.
Do you have any special blogging tip for new bloggers?
Do not go for numbers. It’s your passion and dedication which brings success. Also blogging isn’t a bed of roses. Talent, skill, patience and being grounded is something which will help you last long in this field.
