What is the story behind your blog’s name?
For every little query we search in Google and the very first thing which comes up is Wikipedia so why not similar platform for Food. That’s how me and my friends came up with the name Foodiepedia and to be more specific it’s Foodiepedia Mumbai. It’s a guide to our readers to the food heaven.
What’s your blog about? Who reads it? How long have you been blogging?
My blog is all about food whether it’s a street food or high end restaurant’s food , I cover all types of food. Everyone reads it whether it’s teenager ,working people. I have many followers from Delhi and Pune so when they visit Mumbai my page will be helpful for them. It’s been a year to the food journey.
What do you think food blogging will look like in 5 years?
It will surely be a great platform. By sharing experience on such platform it will increase the interaction between food and people . And people will love to watch Food Blogger’s experience through their stories and posts.
Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?
Photography and editing parts are my favorite. Every time I find various ways to setup my dish so indirectly it will look nice. And editing part because it enhances my dish more in every way possible.
What are the three most popular posts ever on your blog?
There are many posts on which I got so much love from my followers. Most specifically Flat lays picture, Shakes & Pizza.

Mrunal Desai a student of architecture, her love for food and passion for exploring new places and cuisines started while she visited various architectural places in her city & in the country. By travelling she understood the diversity in the food industry and the struggle to innovate new dishes. This gave her an idea to portray the upcoming trends and dishes to people giving them a wide range of options to choose from.
She started her food journey Last year on the occasion of Diwali. She is now a great family of 25k on Instagram. She went to many events where she got a chance to meet famous chefs of cooking industry like Sanjeev Kapoor, Saransh Goila,& Harpal Singh. Recently she visited Fabelle Chocolate event where she got an opportunity to recreate Masterchef Australia’s winner Chef Billie McKay’s signature dish. She love to click and explore places and she is a big fan of Desserts.
