The Edible Tales:-
I am a full-time teacher and a part-time Food Reviewer/ Blogger started The Edible Tales taking my love for food to a step ahead. I strongly believe ‘Love for Food is True Love’. I am from a Sindhi family, I have grown up enjoying a variety of dishes. Food runs in our blood. I’m more of a sweets person. So I love desserts. And chocolate is my weakness. I not only love to relish in delectable dishes but also love to cook. So I keep trying new dishes at home as well.I find the utmost pleasure and satisfaction in sharing my experiences with people who share the same love.
What is the story behind your blog’s name?
I want to weave my stories while exploring places to experience the best of food in the world and share the same with fellow foodies, so that’s why ‘The Edible Tales.’
Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?
In otherwise monotonous life, my passion to explore new places from restaurants to street food shops made life exciting. The increasing power of social media attracted me towards it and I began this journey on 22nd November 2016. I myself used to watch out for other bloggers’ profiles on Instagram before visiting restaurants and also read reviews on Zomato. I thought even I could do it as I love writing. Though initially I wasn’t so good at photography but learned a lot by being observant and patient.
It’s not that you need to be a professional photographer for being a Food Blogger. All you need is the passion to capture the essence of the dish and giving the people genuine feedback about it.
Writing and food are the two things that I have always loved so this became all the more fun for me.
My Food Blog Page now is an indispensable part of my life. Each day I strive harder to create new c and quality content for my followers.
What’s your blog about? Who reads it? How long have you been blogging?
My blog is mainly about food and among other things products and lifestyle brands. It showcases delicacies ranging from drinks to desserts from various restaurants, cafes and street food stalls that I have visited myself. I also capture food delicacies while travelling out of Mumbai as well. Its been only 1 and a half years and I have been blessed with more than 15,000 followers already. So I m also planning to diversify into the Travel blog. Hoping that it happens soon.
Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?
For me personally it is the writing part. I love to express the essence of the food in words. That is something I have been good at from the beginning, Also equally important is the photography part. I have improved my skills a lot. More tempting the picture looks more it attracts the people. Because It’s actually our eyes that lead the way and our tongue just follow. So for that how the picture looks is very important which also depends on the plating and presentation of the dish.
What are the three most popular posts ever on your blog?
1. Aamras Puri Picture homemade dish and self plated
2.Pannini from Mamaji’s Katta Ghatkoper khaugali
