What is the story behind your blog’s name?
“Delhi_food_menu”, as there is a menu for every cafe, restaurant etc we visit, so that every customer can know what all dishes are being served by that particular place. Similarly, for the same reason everyone who visits Delhi can have a look at my page and know what Delhi is best at in terms of food (primarily focusing on street food options). In other words, “Dilli ka food menu”.
Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?
I started food instagramming in Nov, 2016 and before that I had no clue about such thing. I used to click pictures of food and shot video every time, whether out for some street food walk or cafe etc with an ulterior motive of teasing my friends who refused to come with me and make them feel regret for their decision. Eventually this became my habit and I started loving it. So, one day one of my friends suggested me to start a page and post pictures over there. That’s how it all began.
Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?
Every part has its own significance and I am not into cooking that much but post writing and photography is where my heart lies, clicking and writing both goes hand in hand. I am now trying to learn food styling and you will be able to see that through my page in near future.
Do you have any special tip for new bloggers?
Be Consistent, Be organic (No fake followers, likes etc) and Be yourself. That’s it!
What do you think food blogging will look like in 5 years?
If I talk about myself, I will be shifting soon from street food/cafe etc to healthy food and will be uploading healthy food recipes especially for vegetarians.
