Blogger Chomp Slurrp Burp by Sankalp:-
Blogger Chomp Slurrp Burp and his partner in the blog Isha Saxena were in school together and from restaurant hopping after extra classes on Saturdays during those days to exploring the creeks and crevices of Chandni Chowk armed with their cameras, Chomp!Slurrp!Burp! started with expeditions to local cafes then escalating to traveling the lengths of the city hunting for some off-beat flavors and sumptuous classics. Isha Saxena. Blogger Chomp Slurrp Burp is a NIFT Delhi Alumni working as fashion merchandiser with a keen interest in knitting, fashion, food, and photography. Coming from a family of big foodies, she has grown up slicing, whipping and baking things. A peppy shade of yellow, a good murder mystery, well-cooked meats, the perfect Margherita pizza, and rustic alfresco cafes are her instant crushes.
What is the story behind your blog’s name?
So the blog name started off as my partner’s official photobook in second year of her college, we were scouting (read Chomping & Slurping) for food in the lanes of Chandni Chowk and when the name hit us.
Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?
We both were regulars on Zomato since 2014 but always felt the need to tell something more than just a review of a place, we wanted to tell a story which includes a visit to a restaurant, thus the blog came into picture, We feel that blogging is much more than giving recommendations it’s about sharing the experience with the world.
What’s your blog about? Who reads it? How long have you been blogging?
Out blog is about food and travelling for food, while we have a varied readership, you can find restaurant reviews to recipes on our blog. The blog is about 2 years old and has been growing ever since.
What are the three most popular posts ever on your blog?
Our top three blog posts include one of my crazy Maggi fusion recipes with a medley of sauces cooked up by Sankalp; Our experience at Rustom’s Parsi Bhonu, which also was the first time we used our Food Talk Privilege and the beautiful homely preparations of the Parsi Household; and one of our early reviews at Lub Lub Lebanese, the kitchen run by Chef Ashish of Masterchef fame, the delicious smooth hummus and fresh platters are worth the travel to Baani Square.
