Blog BANGALORExpress

FOOD BLOGGER OF INDIA

Blogger Name:-BANGALORExpress

Since :-6 Years

Favourite Cuisine:-I love all kinds of food from Bread butter to Biryani from Rice bath to Pasta from Idli vada to Pizza. From Roti panner to Chowmein. But I tend to gravitate towards Italian & Mexican more when I look for new places.

What is the story behind your blog’s name?

I realised I was writing blogs about my  city life, my experiences about the events, food and travel in and around the city and about the city I love mostly on my personal blog or Fb notes page since 2009 so decided to start a dedicated blog to create a city portal, the name bangalorexpress was a instinctive sudden decision one day as I felt the city portal should give info, first hand reviews, stories etc quickly to people. So Bangalore in an express became bangalorexpress !

Why did you decide/inspired to start a food blog?

Restaurant and food scene is very active in blore with every possible cuisine, lot of breweries & unique cafes, so lot of us hangout in restaurants due to non availability of lot of public spaces and me being a foodie who loves to try variety of cuisines naturally gravitated towards writing about my food experiences in the city and enjoying taking pictures of the same. So I started sharing my weekend experiences with food and started enjoying documenting it and hopefully being helpful to people who read my reviews before going to a place so that they can get maximum value for their money.

Which part of blogging excites you most: the recipe development, the post writing, or the photography?

The post writing and photography interests me the most, writing is a hobby so is photography and being a foodie– its very exciting for me to take food shots and write about it more than eating itself.

Do you have any special blogging tip for new bloggers?

Consistency is a key and be honest with your views and do it only if you are genuinely interested instead of doing it just because its trending currently.
