What inspired you to be a DJ?

The inspiration to become a DJ came from my love for music and the stage of life I was in. I took a break from acting when I lost my father, because of the trauma. That’s when music came to my rescue, it helped me stay positive, it gave me life. It made me smile again and so, I devoted myself to it completely. I decided I wanted create upbeat and happy music to make masses move.  My fans and Bollywood folk were stunned at my decision; they believed going from an actress to a DJ was taking a step down, but I knew that it was the right thing to do for my growth.

If you had to switch your style to another genre, what would it be?

I’m very attached to Bollywood dance music, it’s catchy and it makes you groove! But if I had to switch, it would be Deep House for sure!

Who is your biggest inspiration? / Who do you have a lot of respect for?

My biggest inspiration is my Father, who is no more. He is the reason behind my growth, whatever I have achieved exists only because of his upbringing. I respect him the most because he taught me the value of making others happy; he guided me to become a better human being.

What is it about you that makes you different from other DJs?
