What inspired you to become a chef?

My uncle inspired me to become a chef. He was very successful in his old days at the Taj hotels.

 

 

What is the one cuisine that you are most comfortable cooking? Enjoy the most

I love cooking pasta for my wife and  kids, and enjoy the most.

 

 

Is there a chef you admire the most? Who and why?

Heston Bluementhal, his eye for detail and techniques. He upgrade himself quickly to the industry trends.

 

 

When are you happiest at work?

When I see my plates wiped at the dish washer by my guests. A wonderful sight to watch my food consumed entirely.

Passion and right attitude.

His love for cooking started when he was a young boy watching my uncle, who is also a chef, prepare family meals. As he grew and also revealed love of food and a talent for cooking, person encouraged him to follow his passion. After 4 years of intensive culinary and hospitality training, He was fortunate enough to work in some of South India’s premier restaurants including The Taj West End in Bangalore, the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa in Alibaug and Fava, the go-to destination for Mediterranean fare at UB City Bangalore.

He is specialized in Mediterranean and South Indian cuisine but have an insatiable curiosity for new foods and love pairing flavors from different parts of the world. His dream is to travel, cook, and explore with other masters and to continue to surprise people with flavor combinations that demonstrate the passion he has for his craft.

In his current role as Executive Chef of 5 Food & Beverage outlets at the Hotel Zuri, Whitefield Bangalore. He is able to have freedom with the menu and continue to expand his culinary offerings to appeal to the International and local guests who frequent his establishments.
