What inspired you to become a chef?
Well the plan was never to be a chef, plan was to be a lawyer or a charted accountant but I guess life happens when you’re busy making other plans. I was always fond of baking and decided to take up Le Cordon Bleu for higher education after a 3 years of accounting degree and 3 years of work experience in a garment export company. And after that I went to study baking and it changed the world ever since.
Is there a chef you admire the most? Who and why?
Antonio bachour – he’s a trend setter and so ahead of time .
When are you happiest at work?
When I plate something unexpected and the outcome is even more surprising.
Do you have any advice for someone wanting to become a chef?
Yes! focus, patience and hard work is very important. It’s important to know what you want as this is a skill and passion based job. It’s exhausting not every one can sustain if they are not passionate. So knowing your inner self is very important.
