What inspired you to become a chef?
My Dad inspired me to became a chef, he cooks the best at our house for almost all our family functions and looking at his passion an love for cooking, I felt I should became our next family chef and continue the legacy by serving all my families and friends. ( Kichadi is one of his signature dishes that he cooks every year from last 40years of our Ganesh Chaturthi, and there are guest who actually visit our house last day for this amazing bhog that we serve to all, after the visarjan).
Is there a chef you admire the most? Who and why?
There are many chefs whom I admire, because I feel no one is perfect in this world, so I love to take all the great qualities from all the chefs and try to inculcate in me, but among them I Admire one great chef and a human being that’s CHEF SUBHASH SINHA ( Currently General manager Marriott Suites Pune.) Why – He is very positive, passionate, dedicated, ideal leader, mentor, buddy, thrives to get the best out of you and appreciates for everything that you do.
Do you have any advice for someone wanting to become a chef?
Please do not look at the glamorous part of it, look into the hard work , passion, sacrifice and dedication that every chefs put in their work, if you really want to become a chef you should learn to cook and serve with your heart and not hands , putting your equal love and energy to every dish that you cook and serve to every guest that’s walks in to your hotel or restaurant.
