A recipient of the Best Corporate Chef award as a 2nd Runner up in 2017, Chef Amey R Marathe is currently associated with Ohri’s. Chef Amey is responsible for leading the culinary operations of the Ohri’s Group who own 22 Restaurants, two 3 Star Hotels and 1 Boutique Hotel and whose central kitchen generates a 50cr annual turnover pertaining to food. Chef Amey describes himself as a disciple of Jesus Christ, a visionary culinarian, achiever and a dreamer. Leading over 400 culinary professionals, Chef Amey hones a great business acumen, functional and technical skills not only in the kitchen but also in the management front.
What inspired you to become a chef ?
Sheer joy of cooking and serving is what inspired me to become a Chef.
What is the one cuisine that you are most comfortable cooking? Enjoy the most-
I dont bind my profession with boundaries&cuisines. I just enjoy cooking.

Passion,love,commitment, consistency and perseverance.

Patience and Hard Work is the key, but the most important aspect is enjoying the work. And strive for excellence.
