‘Tell us something about your (Sunshine: my encounter with cancer and A World Within: a remarkable story of coping with a parent’s dementia) books?’

Both these books were difficult and challenging to write for multiple reasons- these are based on personal journeys; these are on sensitive subjects which are generally considered a taboo in the society. These books are autobiographical therefore had to be written with utmost honesty and sincerity.



How would you define the life of an author in one line?

Discipline, hard work and perseverance.



According to you, what it takes to write a good book?

A good book should catch the imagination of the readers by captivating them. It should have a combination of arousing curiosity, entertain and inform the reader about something new.
